WBEC-West, which cultivates sustainable relationships between certified women business enterprises and Corporate America through certification, education, and targeted networking, hosts an annual event for members and corporate suppliers. For the annual gala event, Burick Communication Design created a Carnival of Venice masquerade theme and logo, “Unmask the Opportunity,” that was worked into every aspect of the event branding and microsite.
Brightly colored masks, elegant typography and graphics, interactive website animation, and a period sound track blended to give users an authentic taste of the event experience on the microsite. Additional event marketing materials, such as a poster-sized invitation sent in a 1.5″ mailing tube, email campaign design, a 24-page event program, a direct-mail postcard and other components supporting the theme increased event participation and drove attendance.
